Here are a few simple ways to manage one’s anger.
Take a few deep breaths to calm your body and mind.
Take a “time-out” to get away from the situation. This would allow you time to think and avoid overreacting.
Distract yourself from the situation. Do something different.
Talk to yourself calmly. Instead of I can’t believe this!, try This is frustrating but I can handle it calmly.
